Abegay Taylor is a Jamaican-born, Florida-barred intellectual property and business attorney, and the founder of Ovron Law Group PLLC. She is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs, creators, and business owners protect and grow their brands. With a strong foundation in trademark law, Abegay is passionate about guiding her clients through the legal complexities they face as they build and protect their businesses.

Abegay’s journey to founding her own firm was driven by a desire to have a more direct impact on her clients’ success. She understands firsthand the challenges of building something from scratch and the importance of protecting what’s been created. For her, there’s no greater fulfillment than knowing she’s played a role in her client’s journey to success.

After graduating cum laude from Florida International University College of Law, Abegay worked as a Trademark Examining Attorney at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). There, she gained valuable experience reviewing trademark applications and enforcing intellectual property rights. Her legal career also includes working as an Intellectual Property Law Clerk and Contract Drafting and Negotiation experience, giving her a well-rounded background in the business and creative industries.
